Fair Tax Advocates - ONLY the powerful voices of CITIZENS speaking in unison can make The Fair Tax happen.  Their voice must be stronger and more persistent than any in 40 years.  That movement was to secure rights for blacks; this movement is to secure rights for ALL Americans. 

Fellow Citizens - I hate to be the bearer of bad news - but there is no Knight in shining armor riding a great white steed, nor avenger righting the wrongs brought by our current tax code, nor superhero delivered to us from legends past for us to look to.  This is something we must collectively do OURSELVES.

If you want The Fair Tax NOW, participate EVERY Sunday with out fail!  Are you willing to accept any thing less?  The choice is yours.  As for us, we want (we need) The Fair Tax NOW; we will be relentless.  Every individual in every household should send his/her own set of 8 postcards EVERY Sunday.  If you forget or are indisposed, send them Monday (or whenever).  But send them!!!

P.S. Every household should be sending multiple sets of 8. (except for single citizens of course)

As Americans For Fair Taxation (AFFT) in Houston hits the campaign trail to target those on their way to Washington, we, the ground troops, target those already in Washington (as well as state officials). This two-front attack WILL result in passage of the FAIR TAX, AS WRITTEN!

FAIR TAX advocates force their elected officials to address the FAIR TAX by ensuring all communication arrives weekly! This is a fast, easy, and very low cost strategy to make our voices heard loud and clear from all across the country!

Every week, without fail, 8 elected officials are the “target” of our strategy. The 4 federal “targets” are: 

·       Both of your US Senators (Here in Florida, we have actually had people, because they are a Republican or a Democrat, tell us they only have one senator! - oh, well.)	2

·       Chairman of the House Ways and Means	+1

 If you think this much contact with your public servants is “overkill”, we urge you to reconsider. This must become habit, every Sunday, 52 weeks a year. They must be bombarded!  (Don't believe us?  Consider public clamor for enforcement of current immigration laws - where has it gotten us?)

Friendly persuasion will not work with the "Plutocratic Oligarchy" now in DC, so hit them HARD!  Hit them OFTEN!

Friendly persuasion didn't work with the civil rights movement - did it? However, large displays of citizens did.  Just like it didn't work with King George (see the 3rd paragraph from the end of the Declaration of Independence)   We have been told one communication to a public servant is the same as a thousand.  Why?  Because the public servants know for every communication, there are 999 others who feel the same way, but WON'T  communicate.

OK! Let's do it again at the State and Local level this time! - Remember, the states are essential for the repeal of the 16th amendment.

 Do not be afraid to become a nuisance; the squeaky wheel gets the grease! Do not let up - the FOUNDERS didn't.

You can find contact information for your state level public servants in the blue pages of your telephone book (you’ll have to know your State district numbers). Or, visit http://www.ncsl.org/public/leglinks.cfm click on your state in the left box, and click on “home page” in the right box. Once your state home page comes up, look for links to find your legislators, or use the search box. In some cases the “kid’s page” is helpful.

 

To find your county property appraiser, go to www.google.com, type into the search box the name of your county followed by “property appraiser”.

 

TIME SAVING TIPS:

a)    Bookmark your state legislator pages online.

b)   Create a sheet of address labels for your targets, and for yourself, then just peel and stick to your postcards each week (easy to do in MS Word, with purchased blank labels - You can download a template wizard at Avery.com).  

 Contact everyone you know (as well as those you don't know), and send them to OPERATIONOFFTHEFENCE.ORG to learn more. Here are some promotional cards and flyers to hand out.   We recommend standard perforated business card stock. (Available at Wal-Mart and local office supply stores.)
